Job summary

Paradise Locker Meats (PLM) is seeking a part-time Laborer to join our growing team. This hands-on role supports production, retail, and sanitation tasks in a fast-paced meat processing environment. You will assemble boxes, assist with shipments and customer pickups, and help keep work areas clean.

The job requires lifting heavy objects, reliability, and the ability to work in cold storage. PLM offers an employee discount in our on-site store and a friendly, family-owned atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Self-starter and motivator.
• Ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis throughout the work day
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail
• 18+ to be able to work in freezers/coolers for prolonged time

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes daily for production departments
• Assist retail in executing customer pickups from freezer – and carry out – heavy lifting
• Assist Sanitation department with weekly janitorial cleaning of various areas
• Assist retail in retrieving and putting away weekly orders from wholesale, stocking store, and keeping up retail store front
• Assist in shipping as needed
• Assist in special projects as requested

Main Duties:

Assist the Production department by making boxes and keeping the box making area clean. Assist retail in various tasks. Assist sanitation department with weekly cleanings.
