Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited RN program (ASN 3rd semester or BSN 4th) and BLS are required.
• Participation in an approved Work Study Program affiliated with the school of nursing OR Kaweah Health/Unitek nursing program eligibility for practice and academic partnership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates and communicates with patient/family and other care providers.
• Formulates plan of care with RN and involves patient in decisions.
• Maintain Skills Checklist validated by nursing school and KH preceptor.
• Assist with bedside care under RN supervision and perform delegated tasks.
• Document care in EMR promptly and accurately.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and daily living activities.

Education

ASN: Enrollment in an accredited RN program with completion of 3rd semester

BSN: Enrollment in an accredited RN program with completion of 4th semester
