Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• ASN or BSN enrollment in an accredited RN program with the specified semester completion.
• Participation in Work Study or KH/Unitek nursing program eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates and communicates with patient/family and other healthcare providers.
• With the RN, formulates the plan of care and involves patients in decisions.
• Maintains a validated Skills Checklist and uses EMR for documentation.
• Performs bedside care and delegated nursing procedures under RN supervision.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient care activities.
• Participates in emergency care and crash cart checks as assigned.
