Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with setting up and cleaning lab equipment for student experiments; assist faculty and students during labs, exercises, and exams.
• Performs annual inventory of lab equipment.
• Maintains knowledge of laboratory equipment and demonstrates safe use/disposal of equipment including hazardous materials.
• Calibrates and maintains a variety of lab equipment; troubleshoots issues as needed.
• Ensures lab safety and responds to emergencies; knows health and safety procedures/regulations.
• Ensures EHS compliance in the lab through proper storage of equipment and hazardous materials.
