Job summary

Grant Medical Center in Columbus, part of OhioHealth, is seeking a Staff RN for Labor and Delivery. The role provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in a 24/7 unit.

As an RN, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delegate tasks, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, quality, and exceptional patient experiences. Day shift; part-time schedule as posted.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN degree is required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients.
• Provide professional nursing care according to Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per policy.
• Participate in 24/7/365 staffing and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality and patient experience.
