Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in the Labor and Delivery Unit 1. The role supports patient families across the continuum with 24/7/365 operations and adherence to Ohio Board of Nursing standards.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, delegating tasks per policy and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a high reliability environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio and in good standing with multi-state compact.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - perform initial and ongoing health assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - document interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - evaluate responses and revise care plans with the team.
• Leadership - participate in process improvements for quality and efficiency.
• Operations - contribute to department operations and safety.
• As a High Reliability Organization, maintain focus on safety and quality.
