Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a skilled Registered Nurse for the Perinatal Support Unit in Labor and Delivery. The role provides general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7 department, with adherence to Ohio Nurse Practice Act standards.

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing assessments, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A strong Labor & Delivery background and appropriate certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• C-EFM certification (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) preferred.
• RN license to practice in Ohio required per Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care provided to assigned patients.
• Delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Performs assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
• Active participation in process improvement to achieve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
