Job summary

Family and Community Services Inc Center of Hope is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator for a part-time role (29 hours per week) with $14.00 per hour. The position supports daily hot meal operations and food pantry activities, with evening and weekend flexibility.

The role emphasizes teamwork with volunteers and staff, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and a focus on keeping the facility organized and welcoming for clients and donors. A Serve Safe cert is required or attainable.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of daily hot meals, temping food to max temps, recording.
• Responsible for daily meal sheets.
• Assist with preparation of daily hot meals.
• Work with and support volunteer staff; schedule and track hours.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies; submit supply orders weekly.
• Maintain daily organization and cleanliness of kitchen and dining area; monitor temperatures; follow sanitation procedures.
• Work with program staff, volunteers and participants.
• Greet donors; record donations as needed.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• Adhere to a flexible schedule for evenings/weekends.
• Comply with agency policies and COA regulations; other duties as assigned.
