Job summary

Dartmouth College Dining is seeking a Cook Helper for part-time hours in Hanover, NH. Work 7am through 2:30am, up to 35 hours per week with a flexible schedule based on operational needs. Interviews begin mid-July for employment starting mid-August.

Under close supervision, you will assist in food preparation and serving, across grill, pizza, bakery, and other areas. On-the-job training provided, with emphasis on sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Stand for long periods and lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow recipes and basic math.
• Willingness to learn sanitation procedures.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of foods listed on the daily menu.
• Prepare items in grill, pizza, bakery areas as needed.
• Receive on-the-job training in food service and sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper food handling.
• Support operations with flexible part-time scheduling.
