Job summary

MGM Springfield is hiring a Kitchen Worker to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish area and support the kitchen team for smooth operations. You should have 1+ year of kitchen experience and a passion for quality service.

The starting rate is $18.05 per hour, with overtime as required by state law. Typical duties include breaking down and washing dishes, stocking, operating the dishwasher, and ensuring sanitary conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Break down, load, unload, and sort dishes, glassware, and flatware in the dish area.
• Wash and store pots and other kitchen equipment properly.
• Operate the dishwashing machine and monitor detergents.
• Inspect and stack clean dishes in carts and shelves.
• Polish silver, copper, and brass as needed.
• Transport equipment to outlets as required.
• Sweep, mop floors and clean sinks, drains, and boards.
• Remove trash and steam-clean garbage cans.
