Job summary

ARcare in Searcy, AR is seeking a part-time kitchen staff member to deliver nutritious meals for the Arkansas Special Nutrition Program. You will prepare meals and snacks, maintain sanitation, and assist with classroom activities while supporting a safe, compliant kitchen environment.

Required are a high school diploma and willingness to obtain ServSafe certification within six months; CACFP knowledge and teamwork experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification preferred or obtainable within six months.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with child nutrition programs and CACFP desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals and snacks per Arkansas Special Nutrition Program guidelines.
• Plans meals ahead to minimize substitutions; records substitutions and notes modifications for CACFP.
• Maintains sanitation, safety, and proper storage per health department standards.
• Delivers meals to classrooms ready to serve and supports classroom activities.
