Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University’s Department of Kinesiology invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor for fall 2025. The position is temporary and semester-by-semester, teaching introductory and advanced Kinesiology courses.

The successful candidate will teach face-to-face and online formats, participate in advising, support student organizations, and contribute to program development and assessment; collaboration with faculty and staff is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science with clear specialization in Exercise Science.
• At least two years of experience teaching at the University or Community College level.
• PhD with scientific background and 3–5 years teaching experience preferred; CSCS, EP-C, RCEP or equivalents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and advanced level Kinesiology courses, face-to-face and/or online.
• Attend training and review sessions; participate in advising and student organization support.
• Contribute to program development and assessment; collaborate with faculty and staff.
