Job summary

The Richardson YMCA is hiring a Child Watch Attendant to supervise children in the member nursery and provide safe, enjoyable childcare in accordance with YMCA policies. The role requires maintaining visual and auditory supervision, planning age-appropriate activities, and keeping the space clean and safe.

Applicants should be at least 16 years old, able to lift up to 30 lbs, and prepared to obtain CPR, First Aid, AED and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Must enjoy working with children and stay positive.
• Ability to plan age-appropriate games and activities.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid/AED and related trainings required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in the YMCA member nursery.
• Provide safe, fun childcare in line with YMCA policies.
• Plan and supervise activities; maintain a clean, safe area.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
