Job summary

Family Dollar in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise, and complete sales transactions. You will help with deliveries, stocking, and maintaining overall store appearance, while supporting daily store operations in the absence of management.

The role requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with physical capability for lifting and moving merchandise.

Qualifications

• Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain inventory and stock shelves to ensure product availability.
• Open or close the store in the absence of management and provide operational support.
• Maintain a clean, appealing store environment for customers.
• Assist with deliveries and replenishment activities and stock movement.
• Support asset protection by maintaining a visible presence and excellent service.
• Follow through with assigned duties and company policies.
