Job summary

Family Dollar in Kiln, Mississippi is seeking a part-time associate to provide exceptional customer service, greet shoppers, assist with merchandise selection and location, and ring up sales with accuracy on the POS system.

You will support store operations, help unload deliveries, restock shelves, maintain a clean and inviting store, and assist the Store Manager with daily activities and opening/closing duties when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.
• Retail experience or management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and location; complete sales transactions on the POS system.
• Support store operations including stocking, unloading deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily activities and opening/closing duties when needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment and a positive image for customers and the community.
