Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy to K-12 students during an anticipated 8-week maternity leave. The role is part-time, three days per week, starting next week through early November, with emphasis on continuity of care and achievement of individualized goals.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Pennsylvania SLP license, with CCC-SLP preferred, and prior school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Pennsylvania SLP license is required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience working in a school setting with K-12 students.
• Strong clinical knowledge with documentation and IEP development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs and district/state standards.
• Conduct assessments and re-evaluations as needed during the leave period.
• Develop, maintain, and update documentation in a thorough and timely manner.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Communicate with families regarding students needs, progress, and strategies for support.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with a variety of communication needs.
