Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist to cover a 12-week maternity leave in a K–4 setting. The role focuses on direct intervention, assessment, and collaboration with educators and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, an active state SLP license, CCC from ASHA, and Alabama educator certification, with prior school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active state license for Speech-Language Pathologists.
• CCC from ASHA.
• Educator Certification as required by Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for ~50 students (PreK–4th).
• Develop and implement IEPs with educators and parents.
• Maintain accurate documentation for student files and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, and families to support student success.
• Foster an inclusive environment to help students meet communication and academic goals.
