Job summary

Study Smart Tutors in Detroit is seeking tutors to provide in-person tutoring to students after school hours. You will adapt to new materials, maintain communication with staff, and partner with the Education team to deliver comprehensive learning strategies.

Requires a 4-year degree, teaching certification preferred, experience in teaching or tutoring, and ability to pass a background check. Flexible Mon-Fri hours; competitive hourly pay of $30-$35; benefits include 401(k) and counseling

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching certification is strongly preferred.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Seeking flexible availability Mondays through Fridays during/after school hours.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
