Study Smart Tutors in Detroit is seeking tutors to provide in-person tutoring to students after school hours. You will adapt to new materials, maintain communication with staff, and partner with the Education team to deliver comprehensive learning strategies.

Requires a 4-year degree, teaching certification preferred, experience in teaching or tutoring, and ability to pass a background check. Flexible Mon-Fri hours; competitive hourly pay of $30-$35; benefits include 401(k) and counseling

Competenze

MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
Teaching certification is strongly preferred.
Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
In-person availability is required.
Scheduled hours: Seeking flexible availability Mondays through Fridays during/after school hours.
Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Mansioni

Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
Partner with Study Smart's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students
