Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an Employment Specialist / Special Needs Job Coach for part-time roles in Chester County, PA. You will coach individuals with IDD one-on-one, help them find and maintain work, and educate employers on inclusive practices.

Flexible shifts and weekly pay are offered across several local locations. Responsibilities include empowering clients to obtain employment, monitoring progress, and advocating for accommodations.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD).
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Ability to get to client's workplaces.
• ACRE Certification or CESP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empowering an individual to obtain meaningful employment.
• Assist with enhancing job skills by monitoring progress through documentation.
• Educate employers on benefits and opportunities of work with people with disabilities.
• Advocating for inclusion on the job and reasonable accommodations for the individual.
• Making an impact on the community.
