Job summary

Goodwill Southern California is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Job Coach to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving workplace success. You will provide one-on-one training, encourage growth, and promote inclusive practices across diverse settings.

You will coach participants, give real-time feedback, document progress for compliance, and act as a liaison with employers to foster independence and job satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
• Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Coach participants in learning and mastering job duties.
• Provide feedback, encouragement, and real-time skill development.
• Serve as a liaison between the participant and employer.
• Track and document progress to ensure compliance with program goals.
• Promote independence and self-sufficiency for each participant.
