Job summary

Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County is seeking a Job Coach to supervise and train service participants across multiple job sites, aligning efforts with the IHSP and employer requirements.

You will collaborate with job site management, regional center counselors, and the Supported Employment Services Manager to develop personal growth plans and maximize participant independence and employability through on-the-job coaching and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in an industrial contract production center or social service setting providing employment training or similar services for people with disabilities or other barriers to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and training for Service Participants that meets the needs of the business partner and addresses the acquisition of skill sets noted in IHSP.
• Ensure participants perform daily duties at job sites and meet daily goals with management.
• Monitor production quality and quantity and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with daily defined goals.
• Attend safety meetings and coordinate personal growth plans with counselors and managers.
• Provide on-the-job vocational training, instruction and coaching for Service Participants.
