As a Janitor, your typical day will include:

• Cleaning hallways, lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairways, walls, floors, windows, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, sills, furniture, rugs, trash chutes, garage, and other work and common areas.
• Monitoring and removing trash, debris, and hazardous obstacles from the interior and exterior of the building premises, and trash enclosures weekly, transporting trash to disposal rooms.
• Mopping lobby areas and around elevators on every floor.
• Cleaning trash rooms on every floor.
• Reporting vandalism, damage, and/or items left in common and limited common areas.
• Cleaning railings and sweeping stairwells.
• Cleaning windowsills.
• Working with vendors and obtaining necessary information for tracking purposes.
• Posting notices as directed.
• Performing other tasks as assigned.
• All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work requested that falls within their qualifications but is not specifically described above.
