Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time Janitor in Louisville, KY. The role involves performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas across client sites, with flexible duties per client specifications.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and adhering to chemical usage procedures. Training is provided; prior janitorial experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months janitorial experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs.
