Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to meet client specifications and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and stocking supplies, with morning and afternoon shifts on weekends and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and assist with appropriate disposal.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using proper cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment.
