Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside buildings or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to client specifications and schedules.

The position responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, waste disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and following established cleaning protocols. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth in a leading facilities maintenance company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of six months in a janitorial role.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste; operate compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the scope of work or client needs.
