Job summary

Global Force USA is hiring an outpatient infusion pharmacy technician in Hinsdale, Illinois. This part-time position (25 hours weekly) involves preparing and compounding IV medications while adhering to compliance standards. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, active pharmacy registration in Illinois, and ideally have national certification.

The technician will manage inventory, prepare hazardous and non-hazardous drugs, and ensure patient treatments are timely. This role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to USP standards for patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active Pharmacy Technician registration/license in IL.
• Minimum 1 year of sterile compounding or IV room experience.
• Experience with chemotherapy preparation and hazardous drug handling.

Responsibilities

• Mix chemotherapy and IV admixtures under aseptic conditions.
• Adhere to safety standards by wearing proper PPE.
• Calculate, measure, label, and prepare medications.
• Monitor stock levels and remove expired medications.
• Sync medication preparation with scheduled appointments.
• Clean and sanitize the compounding area and equipment.
• Maintain compounding logs and waste documentation.
