Job summary

SpecialtyRx is expanding with a new Cook County, Illinois location and seeks an IV Pharmacy Technician to support the Infusion Department. The role emphasizes sterile compounding, accurate dosing, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Prior IV experience is REQUIRED.

Qualifications

• Current State/National Pharmacy Technician certification required.
• Clear IV experience is required and previous sterile compounding is a plus.
• Proficient in medical terminology, math, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and fill IV orders, including dosing and sterile handling.
• Maintain IV records and logbooks with accuracy.
• Program infusion pumps and manage equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with the IV Manager and team to meet department goals.
• Order supplies and assist with special projects for process improvements.
