Brigham Young University (BYU) invites applications for an IT Systems Administrating Specialist in Religious Education. This part-time, 28 hours per week role supports teaching, research, and learning through IT services and server management.

You will lead support desks, manage websites, and coordinate software provisioning. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in a technical field and strong collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, IT, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two years of computer troubleshooting or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in systems administration or web development (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technological support to faculty and staff.
• Manage Religious Education’s websites and applications; oversee content management systems.
• Coordinate software purchases and contracts; install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade software.
