Job summary

LifeROOTS, Inc. is seeking a part-time IT Support and Training Specialist to deliver hands-on technical support and employee training across two Albuquerque-area locations. The role involves setting up and maintaining workstations, assisting with Microsoft 365 apps, and coordinating with the contracted IT service provider.

Regular travel and a reliable vehicle are required. The position emphasizes customer-focused service, documentation of issues, and escalation when necessary.

Qualifications

• At least two years of general IT help desk or desktop support experience.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to users of varying skill levels.
• Strong customer-service orientation and professionalism.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Willingness to travel between LifeROOTS locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to LifeROOTS staff at multiple locations.
• Set up, configure, deploy, and relocate employee workstations and hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Document issues and escalation steps; coordinate with external IT provider.
