Job summary

The University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC is seeking a Parts-Time Computer Support Specialist to oversee the installation and maintenance of Law School workstations and provide first-line support to faculty, staff, and students. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, support desktop and mobile devices, and assist with classroom AV technology during events.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation and turnaround of all Law School workstations with Active Directory knowledge.
• Provides first-level end-user support by phone, email, and in person.
• Handles routine questions about installation, operation, and usage of computer system software and business applications.
• Provides desktop and mobile device support as well as hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Assists with classroom audiovisual technology and audiovisual support for events.
