Job summary

SURVICE Engineering is seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to support our Corporate IT Department in Belcamp, MD. This entry-level, part-time role offers hands-on troubleshooting, ticketing, and end-user support in a defense-industry environment.

You'll classify and resolve issues, document steps, manage IT assets, and assist with IT projects while accommodating a 5-day in-office work week. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities accompany a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with preferred Security+ certification and some technical education.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or MCP are a plus.
• Experience with Windows and Office products is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Classify, troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate IT issues on the corporate help desk.
• Respond to IT support requests in-person and by phone with troubleshooting steps.
• Meet and exceed SLAs to maximize employee productivity.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolution outcomes.
• Handle configuration, shipping, receiving, and inventory of IT equipment.
• Guide employees to prevent future problems.
• Assist with IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
