Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Service Desk Technician in Baltimore, MD to provide first-level technical support. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues while installing, configuring, and testing computers, printers, and IT equipment.

You will support end users via phone, email, chat, and in person, manage service desk tickets, assist with device deployments and refreshes, and help maintain inventory and system performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent).
• 1-2 years IT support, help desk, or customer service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with users and team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, printer, and basic network issues.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and standard software.
• Manage and resolve service desk tickets, including escalations for high-priority users.
• Configure devices for end users, perform hardware upgrades, and assist with system testing.
• Support PC refresh initiatives by maintaining inventory and generating asset reports.
