Gwinnett County is seeking a Part-time Financial Analyst II to support budgeting, year-end closes, reconciliations, and procurement activities within the IT division and county departments.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and collaboration with division staff to provide fiscal support in a fast-paced government environment. Salary is dependent on education and experience; up to 1,508 hours per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Two years of professional accounting experience preferred or an equivalent education/experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related financial tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Handle acquisitions requests submitted by departments by working request tickets and initiating purchase orders.
• Verify and confirm department requests against allocated budget funds.
• Maintain records and databases for procurement activities.
• Maintain and update database for anytime reporting of purchase/contract status.
• Aid in invoicing and budget justifications.
• Reconcile and validate a variety of financial data and information; research and interpret records.
