Ideal candidates have 2+ years of patent paralegal or docketing experience and can work independently, managing time-sensitive tasks. This position is 20 hours per month, with pay in the $30–$31 per hour range.

Qualifications

• 2+ years patent paralegal or patent docketing experience
• Working knowledge of WIPO procedures and foreign patent prosecution
• Familiarity with USPTO requirements and Patent Center
• Experience tracking deadlines and maintaining detailed patent records
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Support international and foreign patent prosecution matters using the WIPO system
• Track, calendar, and monitor patent deadlines accurately and proactively
• Process patent assignments and related documentation
• Review and respond to notices issued through the USPTO and Patent Center
• Maintain accurate and organized matter and docketing records
• Follow up on outstanding items to help ensure deadlines and filing requirements are met
