Job summary

LifeSTEPS in Oakland, CA is seeking a Part-Time Intensive Case Manager to join our team for 20 hours per week. Under supervision of the Project Manager, you will assess participants, coordinate services, and support families to achieve stable housing and improved well-being.

Responsibilities include resume writing guidance, job search coaching, interviewing techniques, advocating for clients, and documenting progress in databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field is required.
• Two years of experience in a similar environment providing social services.
• Valid California Driving License and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Promote LifeSTEPS values and provide assistance to individuals and families.
• Assess participants to identify needs (finances, housing, employment, etc.).
• Coordinate and tailor services to meet identified needs.
• Advocate and refer participants to community resources and services.
• Instruct clients in resume writing, job search, and interviewing techniques.
• Compile records and complete administrative tasks, including data entry.
