Job summary

Virginia Farm Bureau Companies is seeking a Part-Time Member Service Specialist to support county insurance staff with solicitation, processing and servicing of insurance products at the Highland-Bath County office in Highland, VA.

The role reports to the Agency Manager and offers paid training for licensing, health insurance needs assistance, and a generous benefits package including medical/dental on day one and a 401K plan. W-2 position with 22.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative support experience.
• Outstanding technical skills including MS Office applications.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Property & Casualty license (within 6 months of hire) Paid for by company
• Previous insurance experience preferred.
• This is a W-2 position only.
• Paid training for licensing and sales training.
• Ongoing development and support in all roles.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to the county insurance staff in the solicitation, processing and servicing of our insurance products.
• Working with our County Board of Directors.
• Assist individuals/ members with health insurance needs.
