Job summary

The Augusta County Office in Verona, VA is seeking a part-time Member Service Specialist to provide customer-focused support, assist with insurance product servicing, and promote Farm Bureau Bank.

This role requires 22.5 hours per week, non-exempt status, and a Property & Casualty license within six months (company-paid). Prior insurance and admin experience are preferred.

• Previous administrative support experience.
• Outstanding MS Office skills.
• Effective verbal & written communication.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Property & Casualty license within 6 months of hire (company-paid).
• Previous insurance experience preferred.
• Outside/Inside sales experience a plus.
• W-2 position only.

POSITION TITLE: Member Service Specialist (Part-Time)

STATUS: Non-exempt

LOCATION: Augusta County Office in Verona, VA

REPORTS TO: Agency Manager

COMPENSATION: $17 - $19 hourly

Our Augusta County Farm Bureau Office in Verona, VA has an excellent Part-Time opportunity available for a career oriented, customer focused individual.

This is a Part-Time position required 22.5 hours a week.

The Member Service Specialist Is Responsible For

• Providing assistance to the county insurance staff in the solicitation, processing and servicing of our insurance products.
• Working with our County Board of Directors.
• Promoting Farm Bureau Bank.
• Assist individuals/ members with health insurance needs.

Qualifications Include

• Previous administrative support experience
• Outstanding technical skills including MS Office applications
• Effective verbal & written communication
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Property & Casualty license (within 6 months of hire) Paid for by company
• Previous insurance experience preferred
• Outside/Inside sales experience a plus!
• This is a W-2 position only
