Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to support Comparion Insurance Sales in our Springfield, MA office. This role focuses on new business sales and customer retention, requiring in-person interaction and strong community networking.

You will work alongside a Sales Agent, deliver consultative service, and strive to meet monthly new business goals while coordinating with other departments for quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Degree.
• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle objections and educate customers.
• Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty and Life licenses with training.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and initiate new business using consultative sales.
• Assist processing of new business and finalize sales.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for the Sales Agent.
• Contribute to and execute a marketing plan with the Sales Agent.
• Meet monthly goals for new business sales.
• Follow up on new policies to maintain retention.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure service quality.
• Act as initial contact for policy and account status concerns.
