Responsibilities

Provide quality instruction and create a learning environment that encourages discussion of ideas, interests, and issues. Primary duties relate to curriculum and teaching, with assignments divided between lecture and lab classes. Part‑time instructional faculty are required to be available to students outside of class.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration
• or Bachelor’s degree in business with accounting emphasis or business administration with accounting emphasis or economics with an accounting emphasis AND a Master’s in business, business administration, business education, economics, taxation, finance or equivalent
• or a combination of education and experience equivalent to all of the above
• Evidence of sensitivity and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff
• Eligibility may also be demonstrated by a CPA license with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration
• Applicants must submit documentation proving degree titles and credits; equivalence requests must be supported with appropriate documentation
