Job summary

The University of Tampa’s New Media and Game Development team is seeking part-time instructors to teach courses in creative digital media, VR, UX/UI, and game design across upcoming terms. This pool supports fall, spring, and summer offerings in the College of Arts and Letters.

Qualified candidates hold an MFA in digital media or related fields, with experience in Unreal, generative AI tools, and college teaching preferred. Applicants should attach cover letter, CV, and sample work.

Qualifications

• MFA in digital media, VR, UX/UI, or related field.
• Experience in virtual interfaces, expanded reality, virtual production (Unreal preferred), UX/UI design, generative AI tools, digital media and/or game design.
• College teaching experience in related areas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in creative digital media, virtual reality, UX/UI design, software and coding, and game design and development and production.
• Utilize department syllabus and course assignments with set readings and writing tasks.
• Manage online grading and paperwork within departmental guidelines.
