Job summary

The University of Tampa’s Department of Film, Animation and New Media invites applications for part-time instructors to teach courses in Animation. Courses may cover 2D/3D animation, 3D printing, motion capture, visual effects, compositing, virtual production, and related areas.

Responsibilities include teaching 4-hour courses per semester, using the department syllabus, and managing online grading. Strong preference for MFA in Animation and experience with Maya/Cinema 4D; college teaching

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in higher education environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Curriculum design and assessment.
• Ability to manage online grading and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more 4-hour Animation courses per semester.
• Follow department syllabus, schedules, and reading/writing assignments.
• Maintain online-paperwork grading system and timely feedback to students.
