The University of Tampa is seeking part-time instructors for the Film, Animation and New Media Department to teach narrative, documentary and experimental filmmaking using digital cameras, lighting, sound, and post production techniques in Tampa. Courses may cover digital filmmaking, cinematography, and post-production under NASAD-accredited programs.

Applicants should hold a MFA (preferred) or Master’s degree with 18 credits in related disciplines and have college teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Fine Arts preferred in related area; minimum of a Master’s degree with 18 credit hours.
• College teaching experience preferred in related areas.

Responsabilités

• Teach one or two 4-hour course(s) per semester.
• Utilize department syllabus and course assignments.
• Provide meeting time outside of class hours for students.
• Grade assignments.
• Manage online/paperwork grading system.
