CSN is seeking a Part‑Time Health Information Technology Instructor to teach medical coding and terminology. The role involves delivering instruction in ICD‑10‑CM/PCS and CPT, plus developing syllabi and course materials with the Program Director.

Qualifikationen

• Current CCS or CCS-P or RHIT/RHIA credential required with recent 5 years of inpatient/outpatient medical coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop syllabi and course materials in conjunction with Program Director
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
• Schedule day or evening classes, on‑campus or online, and meet all classes at the designated time, place and length of time

Required Qualifications

• Current CCS or CCS‑P credential OR RHIT or RHIA credential with recent 5 years of inpatient and outpatient medical coding experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with in‑person instruction
• Proficiency in the use of online Learning Management Systems such as Canvas

Salary Information

$925 per Instructional Unit for Lecture Classes, $57.81 per hour of Lab or Clinical Instruction.
