Primary Purpose of Position

The Department of Built Environment invites applications forPart-Time Instructors for Spring 2027 and Fall 2027. Part-TimeInstructors are temporary employees, hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach courses for the ConstructionSciences and Management program.

Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The Department of Built Environment supports over 290 undergraduatemajors in the programs of Construction Management, EnvironmentalHealth and Safety, and Geomatics.

N.C. A&T is a public, land-grant, doctoral research institutionand has been the largest historically Black university in thecountry for the past decade. With an enrollment of 15,275 studentsin Fall 2026, the university offers 59 undergraduate degreeprograms, 36 master’s programs, and 12 doctoral programs. It isAmerica’s top producer of Black graduates in Engineering andAgricultural Science bachelor’s programs, as well as a top fiveproducer in numerous additional disciplines, including Liberal Artsand Communications/Journalism.
