Job summary

CATHEXIS is seeking an Instructional Systems Design Specialist to lead design, development, and delivery of advanced instructional materials for supply chain professionals. The role emphasizes adult learning theories and modern edtech, collaborating with SMEs and educational technologists to craft strategic training solutions aligned with our government-focused mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
• 8 years of experience with BS/BA.
• 3+ years with MS/MA.
• 1+ years with PhD.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of existing course content and SME materials to ensure courses adhere to adult learning principles, including alignment of content, style requirements, learning objectives, engagement, and activities.
• Assess training needs and learning outcomes, to measure the effectiveness of instructional programs and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Perform revisions or redevelopment of established course design artifacts.
• Develop measurable SMART objectives that align with Bloom's Taxonomy and support achievement of student learning outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with project stakeholders, including SMEs, program leads, and other developers.
• Proactively track and communicate progress, along with potential mitigation strategies for when risks jeopardize deliverable timelines
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in instructional design, educational technology, and integrating best practices into work initiatives.
