Job summary

Catapult Learning is hiring an Instructional Support Specialist to coach teachers in Philadelphia, PA non-public schools. This part-time position (1-2 days/week) supports teacher practice through coaching and professional development, at a pay rate starting from $65/hour.

Responsibilities include conducting model lessons and observations, providing next-step support, aiding classroom management, and leading professional development workshops.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field required.
• PA Instructional II teaching certificate required.
• 2+ years as Curriculum Coach or similar preferred.
• 3 years teaching experience, including high school, preferred.
• Excellent written, spoken, and research skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct model lessons and classroom observations with next-step support.
• Assist teachers with classroom management techniques, resources, and toolkits.
• Co-plan or co-teach with teachers; reflect and debrief to improve practice.
• Provide leadership and support for skillful instruction across classrooms.
• Support understanding and use of the Danielson Framework.
