Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is seeking an Instructional Support Specialist to partner with schools in Philadelphia. This part-time role (1-2 days per week) focuses on coaching teachers to diagnose student needs, plan instruction, and deliver effective, standards-aligned lessons.

You will conduct model lessons, provide resources, and co-plan with teachers while aligning with Archdiocese of Philadelphia standards.

Qualifications

• PA Instructional II teaching certificate required.
• Master's degree in education or related field.
• Knowledge of curriculum programs.
• Two years' experience as Curriculum Coach preferred.
• Three years of teaching experience.
• Experience in high school settings.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct model lessons and classroom observations.
• Provide next-step support and resources for teachers.
• Co-plan or co-teach and debrief with teachers.
• Offer leadership and assistance for skillful instruction.
• Support understanding of the Danielsen Framework.
• Assist teachers in creating an interactive classroom environment.
• Identify instructional strategies to improve student achievement.
• Assist schools with data to set goals.
• Plan and implement next steps teaching based on assessments.
• Lead professional development workshops when needed.
• Maintain documentation in Catapult Learning's system.
