Job summary

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support teachers in a Catholic school setting. The role focuses on assisting with planning, guiding, and educating students in a Christ-centered environment, and helping prepare instructional materials under the guidance of the classroom teacher.

Responsibilities include supervising students, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to safety and conduct policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of study at an institution of higher education or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing materials and instructional activities.
• Support classroom teachers and supervise students before, during, and after school.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow school policies and safety protocols.
• Contribute to a positive, faith-based learning environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or archdiocesan leadership.
