Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a part-time Instructional Paraprofessional to support K-12 students under the direction of teachers at Central Canyon Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role involves assisting with instructional activities, providing tutorial help, maintaining records, and helping create a positive learning environment. Candidates should have at least two years of college coursework or an associate degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework or an Associate's Degree in education or related field.
• Previous aide or teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of child growth and development and appropriate classroom practices.
• Ability to assist with instructional activities.
• Knowledge of subject matters and ability to instruct students at the direction of the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high academic standards and expectations.
• Provide tutorial help to students following lessons prescribed by the teacher.
• Provide immediate feedback on student performance to students and supervising teacher.
• Observe and record students' time on task when needed.
• Assist the classroom teacher in the delivery of an effective instructional program.
• Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material and skills introduced by the teacher.
